SAL Updates

Just wanted to share my progress on the two SALs I'm stitching. Both of these are so enjoyable. First is Seasons 2011. This is the second part - Summer. I just love the bright, warm colors.

And, this is how this piece looks so far with Spring and Summer.

The second SAL is Guimauve et Violette. The colors in this SAL are so pretty and feminine. I love how this looks after Part 3 and can't wait for Part 4.

It has been so HOT here in South Carolina. I don't want to rush the year along, but I am really looking forward to cooler temperatures!

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I love the colors in your current SALs. I never seemed to have outgrown pinks and purples! :)

It's hot here too. But it's a long way from cooling down. I'll be glad to just get a break in the humidity.

Both are so pretty! I especially like the seasons one. Very nice! I agree with you about the heat. I'd love a long spring or a long fall. Skip winter and summer. lol!

I'm loving the purples especially. Hot here, too, but it's a great excuse to stay inside and stitch.

Pretty stitching! Couldn't agree more -- too much heat is NOT good. I'm ready for fall - and will even take the dreaded 'S' word over this heat!

So very pretty lovely job, PINK AND PURPLE FAB.

We could do with a little of your sunshine here but just a little ,i would die in those temps.

Great progress on both of your SAL pieces Nancy.
Summer is every bit as lovely as Spring with all the pretty colours.
Love the little bird on the cotton reel in the other piece.
Hugs,
Margaret

Those are both so pretty and colorful! They will be gorgeous when they're all done. We just went through an awful hot spell, too, and I hated it, especially since we don't have AC. Fall is starting to sound pretty nice!

I wish cooler weather soon!

Both of your SALs are so cheery, Nancy! Beautiful work as always :)

I'm so tired of this hot, humid weather--not sure if things will ever cool off. I've never used my air conditioning as much as I have over the past 10 days, that's for sure!

Hope you enjoy a wonderful week!

WOW - beautiful colors Nancy - I agree - I hate to rush thru the year but I am SOOO ready for some cooler weather - I'm afraid way down in the deep south where we live - it will be 2 more months at least of HOT weather. Just makes you enjoy fall all the more. Stay cool ! Mel

Love your SAL pieces!!! It is way too hot here to do anything but stay inside. They're telling us it will cool down this week (to 104). Bleh!
